Forgotten Forces
Every year I take a painting trip to West Penwith in Cornwall. The ruggedness of the north coast is particularly inspirational for me. The elemental relationship between land, sky and sea remains my focus and continues to inspire my paintings. The clear skies were misleading as I worked on this canvas - the wind whipped around, and I was beginning to wonder about the wisdom of working directly onto canvas on location!
Acrylic on 60 x 60cm box canvas displayed within a white wood tray frame.
